Montgomery County Warrant Records Montgomery County Warrant Records

Every city in Montgomery County runs its own municipal court, and the one named on your citation or letter is the office that can actually answer for a traffic ticket or fine-only case. Call that clerk first. Conroe Municipal Court and Willis Municipal Court each set their own rules for a warrant check, a payment plan, or a court-date reset, and neither office speaks for the other. The Montgomery County Sheriff's warrant search is worth a look too, since it reflects sheriff records rather than a city docket. Whatever the search shows, only the issuing court can confirm an active municipal warrant, set bond, or recall it, so ask the clerk how to clear it properly.

Montgomery County Municipal Court Warrants

City municipal courts hear ordinance and other Class C matters within city limits, including traffic, missed appearances, and post-judgment capias pro fine cases. The issuing city court controls its docket and payment or recall instructions; MCSO does not publish a combined city-court roster.

Read the citation's court caption. A blank county search does not answer a city-citation question.

Montgomery County Municipal Warrants in Conroe

Conroe Municipal Court has “Search Warrants/Case/Dockets” and a separate “Contact a Warrant Officer” form. It requests name, address, phone, email, ID, citation number, and a written question. The form is not a public roster or recall order.

The court is at 2300 Plantation Drive and lists 936-522-3380. Conroe Police shares the facility but has a different role; use the court for city-case status or balance.

The official Conroe warrant page contains the search and officer-request links.

Checking a Municipal Court Warrant

Use the issuing city court first. Conroe has a case search and officer form; Magnolia publishes a search with a two-week update cycle; Oak Ridge North lists AW/CP procedures. Willis and Shenandoah require direct court confirmation. MCSO is only a secondary lead.

  1. Read the citation's court and case number.
  2. Use that city's published warrant, docket, or payment route.
  3. If no match appears, ask the clerk what to check next.
  4. Request existing records or consult counsel if needed.

Inside a Municipal Court Warrant

City result formats differ. Magnolia reports a two-week update cadence; Oak Ridge North publishes codes, not a general roster. Ask the clerk what the file shows and whether it remains active.

How to Resolve a Municipal Court Warrant

Ask which route applies to the exact status: payment, a plan, new date, or hearing. A missed appearance and a post-judgment capias may follow different procedures. Confirm any published fee or code with the court.

  1. Confirm whether it is an arrest warrant, FTA/VPTA, or capias pro fine.
  2. Ask for the accepted option and full amount.
  3. Keep the court's written instruction and receipt.
  4. Confirm recall and any OmniBase report separately.

Warning: Payment, appearance, collection, and an OmniBase hold are separate events; ask the court what has cleared and keep written proof.

Montgomery County Municipal Warrant Safe Harbor in Magnolia

Magnolia calls its Municipal Court a safe-harbor court and says staff can help handle warrants. Its page distinguishes arrest warrants from capias pro fine and states that information updates every two weeks. An arrest-warrant matter may require identification and a cash bond to set a date; a capias pro fine should be discussed with the court.

The city offers in-person, mail, online, phone, and after-hours drop-box payment routes. It says not to put cash in the box and lists a 3.5% in-person card fee. A fee-waiver program displayed through March 3, 2026 is expired; confirm any current offer directly with the court.

The current budget funds roundup and jury-summons postage but names no amnesty date or public roster. Use the PD records route for police incidents, not court warrants.
